I applied for renewal last Oct 2008 and never got a fingerprint renewal notice. My new card arrived January 2009 for 2 years.
did you apply online ,if you did then in all probablity you should get biometrics but if you applied or paper filed it then you would not get biometrics.

Hi,
Can someone provide some advice as to whether or not I can move to a different company given that my labor cert is still in process and am already on an extended H1 visa?
Can the new company apply through PERM? My green card app was placed in 2003.
Or am I stuck with my current employer until my labor cert is approved and I140 applied for?

Hi,
I would like to apply for Canadian PR under the AINP program. Does anybody know of good Immigration Consultants for obtaining a Canadian PR? Something like a law firm which will do the complete application process on my behalf?
Is it better to go through a law firm or do the application process on your own? Is the success rate same if we do it on our own?

Thanks for all your replies. For those who mentioned that I should not post this on public forum, I need to find a good attorney soon as my company lawyers are not being very co-operative. I wanted to get an idea about murthy law firm because although my conversation with the murthy attorney was not that bad but somehow I felt there was broken link in communication between the attorney and their other staff members and also the staff members were not that responsive. I do not want to go into specific details. I am only expressing my experience with them. Although I do not care how their staff members are I do care how their attorneys are in handling cases once I pay thousands of dollars for their service. I had heard good things about them and I did not want to judge their quality just based on my experience with their other staff members. Looking at other people posts, it looks like most of you guys have had good experience with them.

Couple of months ago. In any case, I realized I didn't do 10 years but 9 in the US although it took me more than 5 years to go green. Partly, its due to some internal organizational delays and I can't blame it all on USCIS, so consider my posts withdrawn.

If i travel back to US on AP, i know that my I94 will be Stamped Parolee.
My question How long this I94 will be valid. My I94 expires in Sep 09. So will it be given only till Sep09.
If so what should i do after Sep09. Just keep renewing my AP Application even though i don't travel.

As I told already, I along with my family members entered us at least thrice and still renewed our H1B/H4 without any issues. I am informing this forum regarding my personal experience, which I encountered during this process.
Please get appropriate advice from your attorney and act accordingly as situation varies from case to case.

Can you consider removing the company name in the original post? Just say "MEMS company in North East" or equivalent. Your friend might get in to trouble if he posted on a public forum that company XX is in financial trouble. That is insider confidential information and it may appear unprofessional.

I just thought, if we all dress up formally and carry an item which reflects who we are and why we are in US. It should reflect the high skilled people we represent:
1. Computer Engineers can carry laptops
2. Doctors can dress in there uniform.
3. Nurses can do the same.
etc etc.
It'd good for the cameras, press and average citizens looking at us.
I think that this is an excellent idea! A picture is worth more than a thousand words!
